See inside the book of Joy Paton titled “Seeking Sustainability: On the Prospect of an Ecological Liberalism.” (Routledge, 2011). J. Paton is currently teaching and researching in the Department of Political Economy (Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences). Her primary research focus is sustainability, especially the theories, policy and governance for environmental sustainability in developed economies and this is being extended to developing country economies.

Sustainable Development – How far is it Sustainable? It is an article written for Ruchi Mehta who is part of Hydayatullah National Law University, Raipur, Chhattisgart (Reading No. 25). It was presented in the International Conference on Energy and Environment (2009).

She completed her Honours and Doctoral degrees in the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Sydney and is currently teaching and researching in the Department of Political Economy (Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences). Her primary research focus is sustainability, especially the theories, policy and governance for environmental sustainability in developed economies and this is being extended to developing country economies. (Journal of Australian Political Economy – JAPE,  issue number 62, 2008).
